India, Aug. 27 -- Mitsu Chem Plast has announced an additional 600 MT/year of manufacturing capacity at its existing facility, taking its total installed capacity to over 36,000 MT/year.
The expansion is aimed at supporting rising demand across industrial packaging, healthcare, infrastructure and emergency handling segments. With existing capacity utilisation at 64%, the company said the addition reflects management's confidence in sustained demand and its ability to scale operations efficiently.
The incremental capacity will also help Mitsu Chem Plast cater to growing requirements from OEM customers across the chemical, pharmaceutical, agrochemical and allied sectors, while supporting product diversification.
