India, June 10 -- Meta and CleanMax have announced a major renewable energy partnership in India that will support the development of approximately 900 MW of renewable energy capacity. As part of the collaboration, CleanMax will develop and operate 837 MW of new solar and wind projects across Rajasthan and Karnataka. Combined with previously announced projects, the partnership now exceeds 900 MW of renewable energy capacity.
The projects are expected to support Meta's commitment to matching its electricity consumption with 100% clean and renewable energy while helping reduce emissions across its value chain in the region.
