India, Sept. 29 -- Global Health Ltd (Medanta) has been allotted a 10,560 sq metre land parcel at Siddharth Vihar Yojna, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, by the Uttar Pradesh Housing & Development Board (UPAVP).
The land has been acquired for approximately Rs 165.82 crore on a freehold basis through an online auction. The strategically located parcel has the potential to accommodate a 350+ bed hospital, subject to statutory approvals and approval from the company's Board of Directors.
The proposed facility is expected to strengthen Medanta's presence across the Delhi-NCR healthcare market and expand access to tertiary and quaternary healthcare services for patients in Ghaziabad and surrounding areas.
