India, June 1 -- Maruti Suzuki India achieved its highest-ever monthly sales performance in May 2026, with total vehicle dispatches soaring 34.76 per cent year-on-year to a record 2,42,688 units.
The country's largest carmaker had reported total sales of 1,80,077 units in May 2025. The strong growth reflects robust demand across domestic and export markets, helping the company set a new monthly sales benchmark.
Domestic sales also touched a historic high, rising to 1,93,535 units during the month, compared with 1,38,690 units in the corresponding period last year.
