India, July 8 -- Marksans Pharma Ltd has announced the acquisition of Germany-based ABCnow GmbH for Euro 892,384 (approximately Rs 10 crore) to strengthen its presence in the European pharmaceutical market.
The company has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of the share capital of ABCnow GmbH, according to a regulatory filing.
Headquartered in Flensburg, Germany, ABCnow GmbH is a pharmaceutical wholesaler and distributor with established front-end sales, marketing, and distribution capabilities across the German healthcare market. The acquisition is expected to enhance Marksans Pharma's commercial presence and expand its reach in Germany.
