India, April 22 -- L&T Energy GreenTech Ltd (LTEGL), a wholly owned arm of Larsen & Toubro, has entered into a long-term agreement with Japan's ITOCHU Corporation for the supply of green ammonia.
Under the deal, LTEGL will supply 300,000 tonnes of green ammonia annually to ITOCHU on a long-term take-or-pay basis from its upcoming facility in Kandla, Gujarat.
The agreement builds on the earlier Joint Development Agreement signed in July 2025 and marks a shift from collaboration to firm demand commitment. It is expected to strengthen the development of a global green ammonia value chain.
