India, Oct. 19 -- Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has commenced preliminary activities for the New Tashkent International Airport project in Uzbekistan after its Public Spaces, Airports & Health (PAH) business vertical received a Limited Notice to Proceed (LNTP) from the public-private partnership (PPP) consortium developing the airport.
The LNTP follows the execution of an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract previously awarded to L&T for constructing the passenger terminal and associated landside infrastructure of the greenfield airport.
