India, Oct. 29 -- Jupiter Wagons Limited (JWL), a leading rolling stock and mobility solutions company, has received an order from the Ministry of Railways (Railway Board) for the manufacture and supply of 2,583 BOXNHL and BOXNS wagons. The order is valued at Rs. 1,140 crore, inclusive of taxes, reflecting the company's continued participation in Indian Railways' wagon procurement programme.
The company's private sector order book also remains strong, supported by demand from private freight operators, wagon leasing companies and core sector customers. The combination of government and private sector demand provides JWL with a diversified order pipeline.
