India, Feb. 11 -- Jupiter International on Wednesday announced the commissioning of its third solar cell manufacturing facility in Baddi, Himachal Pradesh, significantly expanding its production footprint.
With the new facility, the company has added 1 GW of mono PERC solar cell capacity to its existing 959 MW base, taking its total installed manufacturing capacity to nearly 2 GW, according to a company statement.
The newly commissioned unit has been developed by Jupiter Solartech Pvt Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Jupiter International Ltd. The expansion marks a major milestone in the company's growth strategy and strengthens its position in the domestic solar manufacturing space.
