India, May 26 -- JSW Energy on Monday announced that it has successfully raised Rs 4,000 crore through a Qualified Institutional Placement (QIP).
The company said its finance committee, at a meeting held on May 25, approved the closure of the issue following the receipt of application forms and funds from eligible qualified institutional buyers in the escrow account, in line with the terms of the issue.
As part of the fundraise, the board approved the allotment of 7.61 crore equity shares at an issue price of Rs 525 per share. The issue price reflects a discount of Rs 9.05 per share, or 1.69%, to the floor price of Rs 534.05 per share.
