India, Sept. 30 -- Indian Railways has approved two new MEMU train services connecting Meerut City with Khurja and Saharanpur, aimed at improving regional rail connectivity in Uttar Pradesh.
The Khurja–Meerut City MEMU (Train Nos. 64573/64574) will cover the route in around 4–4.5 hours, with commercial stoppages at all stations along the section.
The Saharanpur–Meerut City MEMU (Train Nos. 64580/64579) will take approximately 2 hours 20 minutes to 2 hours 55 minutes, depending on the direction of travel, and will also stop at all en-route stations.
The new services are expected to provide additional commuting options for passengers and strengthen rail connectivity across the Meerut, Khurja and Saharanpur regions.
