India, Sept. 30 -- Union Civil Aviation Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu unveiled the curtain raiser for Routes Asia 2027 in New Delhi, formally marking India's preparations to host the international aviation event.
The 24th edition of Routes Asia will take place from March 16–18, 2027, at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi, and is expected to bring together more than 115 airlines, airports, tourism authorities and aviation stakeholders from over 55 countries.
The event will focus on expanding air connectivity, developing new routes and strengthening partnerships across Asia and beyond. India currently has more than 166 airports and plans to add 100 more over the next decade, highlighting the country's expanding aviation infrastructure.
