India, Sept. 30 -- India and Italy have agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector following the second India–Italy Joint Working Group meeting, held on September 29, 2026.
The discussions focused on areas including tourism data sharing, promotion of lesser-known destinations, cine-tourism, destination twinning, skill development and greater business-to-business engagement.
As part of the agreement, both countries will set up focused technical groups and designate points of contact to advance the identified areas and maintain regular coordination between stakeholders.
