India, Sept. 2 -- India and Afghanistan held a virtual Joint Working Group (JWG) meeting on Trade, Commerce and Investment on September 1, 2026, to review bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
Officials from both countries discussed measures to facilitate trade and deepen commercial engagement, with key areas including customs cooperation, visa facilitation for Afghan traders, banking and financial cooperation, pharmaceutical and agricultural trade, energy, investment promotion, tariff concessions, cargo connectivity and port-related issues.
