India, April 22 -- Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL), part of the Tata Group, has completed the acquisition of a 51% stake in Brij Hospitality Private Limited for an investment of around Rs 222 crore, as per a regulatory filing.
Following the transaction, Brij Hospitality has become a subsidiary of IHCL.
Earlier in January, IHCL had announced signing share subscription and purchase agreements to acquire a majority stake in the company, marking its strategic expansion in the hospitality segment.
