India, Sept. 3 -- ICICI Bank has increased its stake in ICICI Life by around 2%, acquiring 29.02 million equity shares from its joint venture partner for approximately Rs 1,470 crore.
The purchases were completed in multiple tranches between July 22 and September 2, 2026, through the stock exchange mechanism, according to a regulatory filing.
Following the transaction, ICICI Bank's holding in ICICI Life has risen to approximately 52.8%.
