India, Sept. 1 -- Hyundai Motor India reported an 8.8 per cent year-on-year increase in total sales to 65,796 units in August 2026, supported by strong growth in the domestic market.
Domestic sales jumped 23.6 per cent to 54,396 units, while exports stood at 11,400 units during the month.
Hyundai Motor India MD and CEO Tarun Garg said the company has maintained its growth momentum in FY2027, with domestic sales rising 12.6 per cent year-on-year during April-August. He added that August domestic sales were the highest recorded for the month, reflecting continued demand across Hyundai's product portfolio.
