India, May 14 -- Guar seed futures edged lower on Thursday, with prices declining by Rs 16 to Rs 5,806 per quintal amid ample market supplies.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for June delivery slipped 0.28 per cent, or Rs 16, to Rs 5,806 per quintal, with an open interest of 62,260 lots.
Market experts attributed the decline in guar seed prices to higher arrivals and increasing supplies from producing regions.
