India, Jan. 27 -- Guar seed prices declined in futures trade on Tuesday, pressured by ample supplies from producing regions. On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for February delivery fell by Rs 24, or 0.42 per cent, to Rs 5,663 per quintal, with open interest standing at 52,600 lots.

Market participants attributed the weakness in prices to increased arrivals from major growing areas.
