India, July 13 -- Guar seed futures traded lower on Monday, with the July contract on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) declining Rs 29, or 0.46 percent, to Rs 6,280 per quintal.

The decline was driven by ample supplies from key producing regions, which weighed on market sentiment. Traders said increased arrivals in the physical market put pressure on guar seed prices in futures trade.
