India, April 15 -- Guar seed prices on Wednesday rose by Rs 28 to Rs 5,758 per quintal in futures trade amid higher bets by investors.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for May delivery climbed Rs 28, or 0.49 per cent, to Rs 5,758 per quintal with an open interest of 60,910 lots.
Marketmen said higher bets by investors, despite a fall in spot prices, supported guar seed prices in futures trade
