India, Sept. 17 -- Guar seed prices rose by Rs 57 to Rs 6,586 per quintal in futures trade on Thursday, supported by increased buying by investors.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for September delivery gained 0.87% to Rs 6,586 per quintal, with an open interest of 85 lots.
Market participants said higher bets by investors, despite weakness in spot prices, supported the rise in guar seed futures.
