India, Oct. 1 -- Guar seed futures rose Rs 53, or 0.79%, to Rs 6,795 per quintal on Thursday, supported by increased positions taken by investors.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for October delivery traded at Rs 6,795 per quintal, with open interest at 47,720 lots.
Market participants said higher investor bets provided support to guar seed prices during the session.
