India, Sept. 2 -- Guar seed futures gained Rs 32 to Rs 6,702 per quintal in Wednesday's trade, supported by increased buying interest from investors despite weaker spot prices.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for September delivery rose 0.48% to Rs 6,702 per quintal, with open interest standing at 49,505 lots.
Market participants attributed the rise in futures prices to higher investor bets, which helped offset the pressure from declining spot prices.
