India, Aug. 18 -- Guar seed futures prices climbed Rs 71 to Rs 6,102 per quintal in futures trading on Tuesday, August 18, supported by increased positions taken by investors.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for August delivery advanced Rs 71, or 1.18 per cent, to Rs 6,102 per quintal, with open interest standing at 4,545 lots.
Market participants said stronger investor bets provided support to guar seed futures, even as spot market prices witnessed a decline.
