India, Jan. 22 -- Guar seed prices rose on Thursday, with futures climbing Rs 41 to Rs 5,761 per quintal, driven by increased investor participation.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for February delivery advanced by Rs 41, or 0.72 per cent, to trade at Rs 5,761 per quintal, with an open interest of 60,360 lots.
Market participants said that higher bets by investors, despite a decline in spot market prices, provided support to guar seed futures during the session.
