India, Aug. 28 -- Guar seed futures rose 3% in Friday's trade, supported by increased buying and higher bets by investors.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), September guar seed contracts climbed Rs 186, or 3%, to Rs 6,545 per quintal, with an open interest of 37,625 lots.
The contract had settled at Rs 6,359 per quintal in the previous session.
