India, Aug. 19 -- Guar seed futures prices declined by Rs 15, or 0.24 per cent, to Rs 6,337 per quintal on Wednesday, weighed down by increased supplies from key growing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for September delivery traded at Rs 6,337 per quintal, with an open interest of 52,320 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline to rising arrivals and ample availability of guar seed from producing areas.
