India, Aug. 7 -- Guar seed futures rose Rs 24 to Rs 6,164 per quintal on Friday as investors increased their positions in the futures market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), August delivery contracts gained 0.39 per cent to Rs 6,164 per quintal, with an open interest of 23,200 lots. Market analysts said the rise was driven by higher investor participation, despite weakness in spot market prices.
