Guar seed futures decline Rs 31 to Rs 7,923 per quintal on ample supplies

India, Oct. 27 -- Guar seed futures prices fell by Rs 31 to Rs 7,923 per quintal on Tuesday, pressured by ample supplies from growing regions.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for November delivery declined by Rs 31, or 0.39%, to Rs 7,923 per quintal, with an open interest of 60,065 lots.

Market participants attributed the decline to increasing supplies from producing regions, which weighed on guar seed prices in the futures market.
