India, July 2 -- Guar seed prices eased in futures trade on Thursday as increased supplies from producing regions weighed on market sentiment.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for July delivery fell by Rs 29, or 0.49%, to Rs 5,932 per quintal, with an open interest of 40,125 lots.

According to market analysts, the decline in guar seed prices was primarily driven by ample supplies from growing regions.
