India, July 30 -- Guar seed futures traded lower on Thursday as increased arrivals from producing regions weighed on prices.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), August guar seed contracts fell by Rs. 39, or 0.66%, to Rs. 5,891 per quintal, with an open interest of 41,730 lots.
According to market participants, the decline in prices was primarily driven by ample supplies from key growing regions, which put downward pressure on the commodity.
