India, April 9 -- Guar seed prices fell on Thursday, with futures declining by Rs 62 to Rs 5,727 per quintal amid higher market supplies.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for May delivery slipped Rs 62, or 1.07 per cent, to Rs 5,727 per quintal, with an open interest of 52,295 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline to increased arrivals and ample supplies from key producing regions, which weighed on prices.
