India, Oct. 26 -- Guar seed futures fell by Rs 205, or 2.47%, to Rs 8,100 per quintal on Monday, pressured by ample supplies from major producing regions.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for November delivery traded lower at Rs 8,100 per quintal, with an open interest of 68,835 lots.

Market participants attributed the decline to rising arrivals from growing regions, which weighed on prices amid sufficient supply.
