India, Oct. 30 -- Guar seed prices declined by Rs. 29, or 0.36%, to Rs. 7,984 per quintal in futures trade on Friday, weighed down by ample supplies from producing regions.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for November delivery fell by Rs. 29 to Rs. 7,984 per quintal, with an open interest of 55,520 lots.

Market participants attributed the decline to rising arrivals and increased supplies from growing regions.
