India, Jan. 13 -- Guar gum prices declined in futures trade on Tuesday, tracking a weak trend in the spot market amid subdued demand and ample supplies.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar gum contracts for February delivery fell by Rs 65, or 0.61 per cent, to Rs 10,531 per quintal, with a trading volume of 55,780 lots.

Market participants said easing demand in the physical market, coupled with sufficient arrivals from producing regions, weighed on guar gum prices.
