India, Aug. 10 -- Guar gum prices declined Rs 9, or 0.07%, to Rs 12,000 per quintal in futures trade on Monday, weighed down by weak demand and selling by market participants.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar gum contracts for September delivery fell to Rs 12,000 per quintal, with a business turnover of 57,290 lots.
Marketmen said sluggish spot demand and adequate supplies from producing regions kept pressure on guar gum prices in the futures market.
