India, Oct. 7 -- Guar gum prices increased on Tuesday, gaining Rs 10 to Rs 8,780 per quintal in futures trade as speculators expanded their positions amid firm spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), November guar gum contracts rose 0.11% to Rs 8,780 per quintal with an open interest of 31,240 lots. Analysts said the rise was driven by traders following a strong physical market trend, which encouraged higher bets.
