India, July 14 -- Guar gum futures climbed 2.34% on Tuesday, supported by firm demand in the physical market and fresh buying by traders.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), the August contract rose Rs 289 to Rs 12,618 per quintal, with an open interest of 64,310 lots.
According to market analysts, the rally was driven by strong spot market demand, which encouraged traders to increase their positions in guar gum futures.
