India, July 22 -- Guar gum futures traded higher on Wednesday, supported by firm demand in the physical market and increased buying by traders. The August contract on the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) gained Rs. 59, or 0.51%, to Rs. 11,719 per quintal, with an open interest of 64,905 lots.
Market analysts said the rise in futures prices was driven by stronger spot market demand, prompting traders to increase their positions.
