India, July 7 -- Guar gum futures prices climbed Rs 256, or 2.27%, to Rs 11,540 per quintal in Tuesday's trade as traders increased their positions amid firm demand in the physical market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar gum contracts for July delivery traded at Rs 11,540 per quintal, with an open interest of 29,745 lots.
Market analysts said stronger spot market demand encouraged traders to build fresh positions, supporting gains in guar gum futures.
