India, May 12 -- Guar gum futures moved higher on Tuesday as traders increased their positions amid firm demand in the physical market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar gum contracts for June delivery rose by Rs 14, or 0.14%, to Rs 11,163 per quintal, with open interest standing at 55,130 lots.
Analysts said strong trends in the spot market encouraged traders to build fresh positions, supporting the rise in guar gum futures prices.
