India, Dec. 9 -- Guar gum futures gained Rs 205 to Rs 8,921 per quintal on Tuesday as traders expanded their positions amid strong spot demand.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), January delivery contracts rose 2.30% to Rs 8,921 per quintal, with an open interest of 41,475 lots.
Analysts said robust trends in the physical market encouraged traders to increase their holdings, supporting the price rise.
