India, Sept. 2 -- Guar gum futures rose Rs 59 to Rs 13,064 per quintal in Wednesday's trade, supported by firm spot demand and increased holdings by speculators.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar gum contracts for September delivery gained 0.45% to Rs 13,064 per quintal, with open interest at 48,355 lots.
Market analysts said firm trends in the physical market encouraged traders to increase their bets, supporting the rise in guar gum futures prices.
