India, May 20 -- Guar gum futures moved higher on Wednesday as traders increased their positions following firm demand in the physical market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar gum contracts for June delivery climbed by Rs 232, or 2.04 percent, to Rs 11,359 per quintal, with an open interest of 67,390 lots.
Market analysts said stronger activity in the spot market encouraged traders to raise their bets, supporting the upward movement in guar gum futures prices.
