India, Aug. 7 -- Guar gum futures rose Rs 67 to Rs 11,826 per quintal on Friday as traders increased their positions, supported by firm demand in the physical market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), August delivery contracts advanced 0.57 per cent to Rs 11,826 per quintal, with an open interest of 23,885 lots. Market analysts attributed the gains to stronger spot market demand, which encouraged fresh buying by traders.
