India, July 28 -- Guar gum futures rose by Rs. 35 to Rs. 11,420 per quintal on Tuesday as traders increased their positions amid firm demand in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), August delivery contracts advanced 0.31% to Rs. 11,420 per quintal, with an open interest of 52,470 lots.

According to analysts, strong physical market demand encouraged traders to build fresh positions, supporting guar gum prices in futures trade.
