India, Sept. 7 -- Guar gum futures declined Rs 131, or 0.97%, to Rs 13,380 per quintal on Monday, pressured by selling from market participants amid a weak trend in the spot market.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar gum contracts for October delivery fell Rs 131 to Rs 13,380 per quintal, with 59,745 lots traded.
Market participants attributed the decline to sluggish spot-market demand and ample supplies from producing regions, which weighed on guar gum prices.
