India, April 6 -- Guar gum futures declined on Monday, with prices falling by Rs 17 to Rs 10,947 per quintal amid weak demand in the spot market.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar gum contracts for May delivery slipped 0.16%, with open interest at 43,670 lots.

The decline was driven by subdued demand conditions and ample supply from key producing regions, putting pressure on prices.
