India, Sept. 3 -- Guar gum futures fell on Thursday, weighed down by subdued demand in the spot market and increased supplies from key growing regions.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar gum contracts for October delivery declined Rs 50, or 0.37%, to Rs 13,356 per quintal, with an open interest of 53,405 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline to weak spot demand and ample supplies, which prompted traders to reduce their positions and exerted pressure on prices.
